Ingredients:

  • One flour tortilla (or any tortilla of choice)
  • ½ cup of refried beans
  • ½ cup ground beef flavored with taco seasoning
  • ½ cup of shredded mexican blend cheese or cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • Optional: ¼ cup diec avocado and 2 tbsp salsa for garnishing

Utensils:

  • Sheet pan
  • Measuring tools
  • Pizza cutter or knife
  • Oven mitts
  • Spoon

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉
  2. Place the tortilla on your sheet pan and add the refried beans to the tortilla and spread with a knife
  3. Evenly add the ground beef to the tortilla and then add the cheese
  4. Finally top with the diced tomatoes
  5. Place in the preheated oven for 15 minutes
  6. After 15 minutes use the oven mitts to remove the pizza and add additional topping
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before cutting and eating!

Pro Tip:

If you do not not want to use meat, substitute the ground beef for black beans for a vegetarian option!
