Ingredients:

  • 10 whole mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Non stick cooking spray
  • 4 oz of cream cheese
  • ¼ cup of shredded parmesan
  • ¼ tsp of black pepper
  • ¼ tsp of onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Utensils:

  • Sheet pan
  • Measuring tools
  • A pan
  • Oven mitts
  • Spoon

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉
  2. Use a damp paper towel to wash your mushrooms and remove the stems
  3. Finely chop the stems of the mushrooms
  4. Heat your olive oil on a pan over medium heat and add in your chopped mushroom stems and garlic and saute until the moisture is removed. Then set aside to cool
  5. Once the garlic and mushroom mixture is cooled, add in your cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and seasoning and stir until combined
  6. Using a spoon scoop your mixture into the mushroom caps and place your mushroom caps on a sheet pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray (I added a little extra parmesan cheese to the top of mine)
  7. Place in the oven for 20 minutes
  8. After 20 minutes use the oven mitts to remove the mushrooms and enjoy!
