Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-3 tablespoons of water as needed
Utensils:
- A bowl
- A whisk
- Measuring tools
- A pan
Preparation:
- In a bowl combine all of the dry ingredients and whisk together to remove clumps
- Add the egg, applesauce, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and stir until combined (if the batter looks to thick add 1-3 tbsp of water and stir
- Heat up your pan on medium heat and add non stick cooking spray
- Measure ⅓ cup of batter onto your pan and allow it to cook for about 2 minutes or until you begin to see bubbles around the edge of the pancake then flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until it is lightly browned. Repeat with the remaining batter
- Top your pancakes with maple syrup and enjoy!
