Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-3 tablespoons of water as needed

Utensils:

  • A bowl
  • A whisk
  • Measuring tools
  • A pan

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl combine all of the dry ingredients and whisk together to remove clumps
  2. Add the egg, applesauce, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and stir until combined (if the batter looks to thick add 1-3 tbsp of water and stir
  3. Heat up your pan on medium heat and add non stick cooking spray
  4. Measure ⅓ cup of batter onto your pan and allow it to cook for about 2 minutes or until you begin to see bubbles around the edge of the pancake then flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until it is lightly browned. Repeat with the remaining batter
  5. Top your pancakes with maple syrup and enjoy!
