Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cashew or almond butter
  • ⅛ cup maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Utensils:

  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Tupperware for storage

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl combine the nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract
  2. Add the oats, coconut, chocolate chips, and chia seeds to the nut butter mixture and stir until combined
  3. Place the mixture into the fridge for 5-10 minutes to allow it to chill
  4. Once the mixture is chilled remove from the fridge and use a table spoon to scoop the mixture and roll between your hands until a ball shape forms
  5. Do this until your mixture is gone and store the balls in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer for a quick and easy snack!

Pro Tip:

If the “dough” is slightly crumbly after it has been refrigerated and hard to form into balls, add about ½ tbsp of water and it will be easier to work with!
